the breakfast was adequate (nothing lovely, but acceptable).
The room's heating was subpar. I had no second keycard, so the heating switched off whenever i left for dinner and didn't restart upon my return. i needed to call reception to remotely reactivate it. also, there was no apology about my chilly room issue when i checked out.

The staff, including Marina, Ellie, and a young man, answered questions quickly and kindly. My room included an iron with its board plus tea and coffee. Dove shampoo, body wash, and hand wash were provided. Such a NICE bonus!
I noticed that one light fitting in my room was broken. the television in the room was not working.

The hotel's location is very convenient for the train station. It's situated at the bottom of the station access road, about a three-minute walk. The hotel is priced appropriately for a city centre hotel.

Alex at reception spotted my group's despondency and provided an excellent welcome. This welcome more than made up for a cancelled flight. The breakfast staff were as good as the food.
